The second release in EMI's First Light Harvest remaster series celebrates the 30th Anniversary of 'ELO 2' with 8 bonus tracks, including rare and previously unreleased material NOT available on the 2006 Epic/Legacy remaster. All tracks have been remastered by Peter Mew at Abbey Road Studios under the approval and direction of Jeff Lynne.

The CD is crammed full of recently discovered unreleased material, a DIFFERENT booklet to the Epic/Legacy edition crammed full of never before published photos and memorabilia (many from band members' own private collections), exclusive sleeve notes, rare interviews and original reviews. One highlight is an unreleased session ELO recorded with Marc Bolan which includes a previously unreleased Jeff Lynne original song entitled "Everyone's Born To Die" (complete with Bolan lead guitar solo) plus early session versions of ELO songs "Ma-Ma-Ma-Belle" and "Dreaming Of 4000". The fully illustrated CD booklet includes previously unpublished photos of ELO and Bolan performing together, EXCLUSIVE to the EMI UK edition
