The ultimate 60's enigma, the man who this year Mojo called: "the last forgotten hero of British pop" finally receives his dues with the debut release of this legendary lost album.
Cut in 1968 after his departure from The Move, with heavy friends such as Jimmy Page and Tony Visconti, its cancellation coincided with Ace suffering a major nervous breakdown and suicide attempt. After decades of illness, Ace has bravely battled his way back to health and it is only fitting that this classic collection should now appear.
In addition to the original unreleased album, rare singles by The Ace Kefford Stand, Rockstar and The Lemon Tree plus previously unreleased Stand session recordings complete a landmark and highly recommended package.
Ace has been fully involved with every aspect of the 'Ace The Face' production, remastering and compilation. The lavishly illustrated booklet contains photographs and memorabilia from Ace's personal collection and includes an exclusive interview conducted at Sanctuary's Westside Studios in August by Mark Paytress.
