"Flowers
In The Rain is about a boy who can't sleep at night, so he takes
his bed into the garden and lies watching the flowers growing
in the rain."
The Move after recording Flowers In The Rain, mid-July 1967
| FLOWERS
IN THE RAIN
is newly mixed to stereo from the original Advision Studios
session multi-track tapes and sounds incredible! Released
on Salvo in association with Fly Records, the
stereo mix and remastering by Rob Keyloch and Nick
Robbins has filled the song with new, dynamic energy and
revealed instrumentation and performances previously hidden
in Denny Cordell's original mono mix - Tony Visconti
is very impressed! |

background information regarding the controversy surrounding the
original promotional campaign which saw The Move taken
to court by Prime Minister Harold Wilson and forfeiting
their royalties to charity. There are audio previews, complete

Move's official website: www.themoveonline.com

'Flowers
In The Rain' single and EP contain previously unreleased material
on the b-sides (including an exclusive radio edit of 'Feel
Too Good', the full-length version of which can be found
on 'Looking On') as well as full-colour
pictures sleeves featuring a previously unpublished photo by Petra
Niemeier from a European TV performance to promote the original
single.
FLOWERS
IN THE RAIN / MOVE (SALVOSV002) RED VINYL LIMITED EDITION

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who ordered the limited edition and
contributed to Carl Wayne's Cancer Charity. As the single
was very quickly over-subscribed, the fairest way we could think
of allocating the limited edition was by ballot. Once all the
singles were sent out - and because so many fans wanted to contribute
to Carl's charity - a second pressing was scheduled. Unfortunately,
this was held up due to delays on the remastered edition of 'Looking
On' but now that album is set for release, the second pressing
will be underway soon and an email sent confirming dispatch. Thank
you for your continued patience but if you have any further queries
or require a refund, please email Rob Caiger at ftmusic@ftmusic.com
as soon as possible.
